Another sensitive issue is the approximately 60-day deadline for resolving applications. Although considered indicative, in reality, delays directly affect operators and create the conditions for legal action against the authorities. In the absence of efficient administrative organization, many city halls risk failing to meet this deadline.
In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction generally lies with the court in the jurisdiction where the gambling operator is headquartered.This rule has significant practical implications, including in terms of litigation strategy and associated costs. In the coming period, the relationship between operators and local government will become much more dynamic and, inevitably, more tense. This is precisely why a professional approach, based on the correct interpretation of the legal framework and the anticipation of risks, becomes an essential element for all stakeholders involved.
The new regulations not only decentralize decision-making but also transfer risk. How each local administrative unit chooses to exercise these powers will directly influence both the business environment and the volume of litigation in the coming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
