Last week, part of the Nartea & Partners team attended the JobFest 2026 event, organized by ELSA Sibiu, a project dedicated to providing career guidance to students and young people just starting out in the legal field. ⚖️
The firm was represented by Mr. Nartea Ștefan-Florin, along with two associate attorneys, Ms. Bușică Lorena-Maria and Ms. Andreea Văcaru, who delivered a practical presentation based on real-world experience in the legal profession. The discussions focused specifically on the internship period, a crucial stage in the training of future lawyers, as well as on Mr. Nartea’s solid professional experience, reflected in practical advice, real-world examples, and the obstacles frequently encountered in the practice of law.
The session aimed to provide participants with a realistic perspective on their professional journey, emphasizing the challenges encountered in practice, the pace of work in a law firm, and the skills necessary to advance in this field. Topics such as adapting to the profession’s demands, managing responsibilities from the very first years of practice, and the importance of continuous learning were discussed.
A key moment of the meeting was the open dialogue with the students, who asked a variety of questions regarding entry into the profession, the real difficulties lawyers face, and how these can be overcome. The exchange of ideas was dynamic and useful, providing clear answers and practical examples.
At the same time, the workshop included a mock interview designed to familiarize participants with the stages of the selection process for a position at a law firm. The exercise highlighted key aspects such as presentation skills, the coherence of responses, and professional demeanor, providing participants with concrete guidance for the future.
